Avis : Hudson's Bay est un très beau film en noir et blanc tourné par la 20th Century Fox et évoquant une partie de l'histoire du Canada (sans être fidèle à la réalité).
Le trio d'acteur principal est exceptionnel. John Sutton interprète le héro classique tandis que Paul Muni et Laird Cregar apportent de l'humour. Muni est très à l'aise avec un accent français bien maîtrisé. Une très belle performance. A noter également Gene Tierney et Vincent Price.
Le film aurait mérité d'être en couleurs pour mettre en valeur les beaux paysages enneigés du Canada mais la photographie est très agréable.
